How to use the demo application:

1. Click the 'Check for Ports' button.
All available serial ports (between COM1 and COM255) will appear
   marked on the left side.
2. Click the 'Check for LCIC' button.
All the available ports (found at step 1) will be checked whether
they respond as an LCIC board. Each such port will be reported
'Port x is a responsive LCIC'. The others will be reported
'Port x is not a responsive LCIC'.
Note: In the following case a port may be classified as a
'non LCIC' port even though an LCIC board does exist in that
   port:
   * The communication is through RS232 (that is, not USB).
   AND
   * The Baud Rate is improper.
So, if this is the case, select in the 'BaudRate' box the
proper value and click the 'Check for LCIC' button again.
3. If at least one LCIC port was found, you may communicate with
the board using the 'User Command' box and the 'Send User Command'
button. The program will communicate with the LAST port that
responded (in step 2) as an LCIC board.
4. Consult section 4.1 in the User's Manual for the syntax of the
   various commands.
